Grime Studios is located in an old industrial building at 299 Presumpscot Street. It's a low-cost space where local bands can rehearse. The space has been open for about 10 years. The manager, Justin Curtsinger, says he's facing a rent increase and was forced to pass some of that cost onto bands, but he still has a $30,000 gap to fill per year.

Evan Legassey made a 3-pointer with seven seconds left and Deering scored the final nine points of the game to beat visiting Cheverus 65-62 in a boys basketball game Monday in Portland. Rudwan Muhamed tied the score on a 3-pointer of his own about six seconds before Legassey’s winner.
