The New England Patriots continue to announce major changes, including interview requests, with recent reports indicating they want to speak with a Dolphins coach to assist Mike Vrabel.

While the Patriots requested permission, the Dolphins can only block assistants from interviewing for lateral positions. As a defensive coordinator appointment would be a promotion for Crow, Miami has no choice but to grant the request.

The Dolphins’ outside linebackers coach was previously under Mike Vrabel on the Tennessee Titans’ coaching staff.
