For Edmonton, Leon Draisaitl and Corey Perry scored, but the Oilers struggled to fill the void left by McDavid, who sits fifth in NHL scoring this season with 65 points.

The Washington Capitals look to keep a five-game win streak intact when they visit the Seattle Kraken on Thursday night.

The team’s forward, Cory Perry, was on his way to attempt a goal when someone in the stands tossed a full plate of nachos, cheese and all, onto the ice in front of him. But Perry navigated the roadblock with aplomb, navigating himself around it and nailed one past Washington Forwards goalie Logan Thompson.
