Princess Beatrice has given birth to a baby girl and the royals are celebrating, Buckingham Palace announced. Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi named their newborn Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.

Athena’s arrival will place Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, back one place to 12th in line. Eugenie’s children, August (born in February 2021) and Ernest (born in May 2023) will be pushed back to 13th and 14th place respectively.
