The Philadelphia Eagles scored on a blocked punt on the first drive against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, a week after Jordan Davis blocked a field goal for a scoop and score to seal a win.

The Eagles took a big 24-3 lead at halftime even though Barkley had only 18 yards rushing. But the Bucs' Chase McLaughlin kicked a 65-yard field goal as time expired in the half. The NFL record is 66 yards set by the Ravens' Justin Tucker in 2021. The Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey kicked a 65-yarder last season.

Davis lept up and blocked the kick, securing the win for the Eagles. He scooped it up and ran it into the end zone without much challenge from the Rams' tacklers. He crossed the goal line with the ball and a caravan of teammates to finish off the win in style.

The Philadelphia Eagles were scoring at will and used a fake tush push play to add to their totals with Saquon Barkley scoring a touchdown.

The Eagles won again — for the 20th time in their last 21 games to the delight of Schwarber and all Philadelphia sports fans — even as their road to victory in Tampa Bay that gave them a 4-0 start was one of the ugliest of late for one of four undefeated teams in the NFL.
