Multiple earthquakes rattled parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. An initial 3.0-magnitude quake struck the area near Rialto around 8:34 a.m. and was followed by a 2.8-magnitude quake and several aftershocks.

A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck in San Bernardino County on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake hit at 11:19 a.m. about 1.9 miles east of Big Bear Lake. It had a depth of 4.8 miles.

A series of earthquakes struck San Bernardino County Thursday, with the strongest south of Cal State San Bernardino.
