At least 51 people have been killed and around 100 injured after on-stage pyrotechnics caused a major fire in a nightclub in North Macedonia.

At least 51 people died and more than 150 were injured after a fire tore through a nightclub in North Macedonia, with the country’s interior minister blaming pyrotechnics. Hundreds had gathered at the ‘Pulse’ nightclub in the town of Kochani,

The blaze broke out around 2:35 a.m. during a concert by a local pop group at the Pulse nightclub, Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski told reporters.
