New York — Sam Nordquist’s name will be added to the national LGBTQ+ wall of honor at the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City over the summer.
Nordquist, a 24-year-old man from Minnesota, traveled to the Canandaigua and Geneva area in search of love. Instead, police say he was held captive, tortured for a month, and ultimately killed.
That was all it took. Nordquist, a 24-year-old trans man from the outskirts of Minneapolis, flew to New York state to meet Arzuaga for the first time Sept. 28.
