In the second game of this Subway Series, Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe accidentally hit Aaron Judge in the head with a baseball. While it's normal for Judge to get thrown the ball as they head off the field, this time Judge wasn't looking and was hit in the face.

New York Yankees star Aaron Judge was struck in the face by a toss from teammate Anthony Volpe as they were coming off the field after the fifth inning of Saturday’s 12-6 loss to the New York Mets.

Following the fifth inning of the Yankees' game against the New York Mets, Volpe tossed back the baseball in Judge's direction as part of a between-innings ritual. Unfortunately, Judge's attention was elsewhere and he didn't see the ball flying straight toward his head.
