Amazon MGM Studios and longtime Bond custodians Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli formed a new joint venture in which they will co-own James Bond intellectual property rights.

A new deal will see Amazon and MGM Studios take creative control over the James Bond series. Long-time producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson will step back, ending a family legacy that dates back to the first Bond film starring Sean Connery over sixty years ago.
