The most recent big Mega Millions winner was a lucky lottery ticket holder in Arizona, who struck gold on Jan. 18, winning a $113 million jackpot. According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.

There were also no tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, lottery officials announced. The numbers drawn Friday were 1, 13, 28, 37, and 46 and the Mega number was 10. The estimated jackpot was $165 million.
