A ticket worth $150,000 was sold at a Kroger in Danville, and another ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Lexington Kroger.
Nearly 400,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000, the lottery said.
The lucky player won $1 million after matching five white ball numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Monday, July 21, according to the Georgia Lottery’s website. The winning ticket was sold at a Circle K gas station in Forsyth, a lottery spokesperson told McClatchy News. The winner hadn’t come forward as of July 22.
