Nationwide "Good Trouble" protests, planned for July 17, 2025, aim to address various social and political issues, including women's rights and immigration policies.

Hundreds gathered to hear speeches, a dance performance, singing, and remember Civil Rights activist John Lewis who passed away five years before.

People carried signs with slogans like "Good Trouble Lives On" and "Law Over Loyalty."

"The civil rights leaders of the past have shown us the power of collective action," the organization said on its website.

“When you see something that’s not just, you have a moral obligation to speak up,” Delafield said, giving her own meaning to Lewis’ signature phrase: “Make good trouble, necessary trouble.”
