The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced in a meeting they will begin partnering with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement(I.C.E.).

The move gives new energy to a collaboration litigated and scaled back under state laws limiting local law enforcement’s engagement with ICE.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) has reinstated a formal collaboration with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and hopes to strengthen collaboration in the future through a bill in Colorado’s State Capitol.
