The San Francisco 49ers will be without starting quarterback Brock Purdy for the third session of their 2025 training camp.

Brock Purdy was excused Friday from the 49ers’ third practice of training camp because of personal reasons that are not expected to prompt a multi-day absence. Mac Jones and Tanner Mordecai served as the only quarterbacks for the 90-minute practice that preceded Saturday’s day off.

Brock Purdy missed 49ers camp for personal reasons, while Renardo Green left early with a hamstring injury after a strong showing.
