British Airways has made tweaks to its loyalty program, just over a month after an overhaul that triggered a storm of complaints from the airline’s customers about how to earn points.

It had 28 routes: 24 from London Heathrow and four from London Gatwick. The carrier's network comprises 26 US airports, as shown below, with Orlando and Tampa exclusively from Gatwick. Examining the period from 2018 shows that additions include Cincinnati (2023), Nashville (2018), Pittsburgh (2019), and Portland (2022).

Following concerns from frequent flyers, British Airways changed its new loyalty scheme. The airline will now allow elite status retention depending on flight count and extend bonus tier point offerings through the end of 2025.

A complete overhaul of the British Airways (BA) loyalty programme is going to impact Heathrow and Gatwick passengers in 2025 as well as those travelling to and from other airports around London and the whole of the UK.
