We've reached the week of the MLB trade deadline, and the market continues to be strong for former Seattle Mariners 3B Eugenio Suárez.

The Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees both need to add a third baseman. They could find themselves in a bidding war for the same trade target.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Tigers are among a few teams expressing interest in a former Gold Glove third baseman who's on a massive contract. "The Yankees, along with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs," Nightengale writes, "Have also expressed interest in Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes."
