According to PVAS, puppies and kittens will have 50% off adoption fees. Large dogs will be free to adopt. Adoptable pets will be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and have a microchip.

But now PVAS joins the ranks of other Texas shelters, including Houston shelters, Harris County Pets and BARC, who both have reached independent save rates above 90 percent.
