David Njoku isn't letting Myles Garrett leave Cleveland without a fight -- practically getting on his hands and knees to try and keep the Browns superstar from requesting a trade ... claiming their team isn't that far from contention.

Off the heels of his trade request from the Browns this week, Myles Garrett visited Radio Row in New Orleans to further discuss why he wants out of Cleveland.

Browns general manager Andrew Berry spoke on Tuesday about the organization's plan to keep Garrett with the franchise until he retires. He's already been with the team since he was drafted in 2017. Garrett won't become a free agent until 2027, but the team is open to exploring an extension with the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
