The folks over at Mercedes-AMG call the GT 63 S E Performance 4-Door a coupe, but our eyes see four doors. We're willing to overlook that discrepancy, though, because the wait for Affalterbach's most powerful family-friendly version of the AMG GT sports car is finally over

German automaker Mercedes-AMG has finally introduced its latest model, the 2025 GT63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe. For the new model year, the car has received a minor design revamp and the latest MBUX software inside.

Mercedes announced late on Monday that the 2025 GT 63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe is priced from $200,100, including a $1,150 destination charge, which is up $4,050 on the previous year. No other changes have been made for the new model year, apart from some additional paint options.

Today's Mercedes-AMG cars are by no means slow and in the event you needed a reminder, the Affalterbach-based firm just revealed the GT 63 S E Performance four-door coupe. It's the most powerful production AMG car yet,

AMG GT 63 S E Performance arrives in the US with 831 hp and a PHEV twin-turbo V8. Performance remains extreme with 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and a 197 mph top speed. Pricing is still unconfirmed but will slot above the GT 43 and GT 53 models.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain debuts in the GT 63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe, a flagship model set to arrive in the U.S. for the 2025 model year. First revealed in 2021, it has been available in other markets since then, though Mercedes had not previously offered it in the U.S. for unclear reasons.
