Over the last month my wife has had two dreams of water. In one dream she is chasing after laundry in a small rowing boat. Half way down this narrow stretch of water her way is barred by people.

Water is also connected to notions of growth, fertility and flourishing of some kind. So it may be that your water dreams are telling of you current path to creativity.
