In Katniss and Peeta's The Hunger Games trilogy, Woody Harrelson took on the role of their mentor Haymitch Abernathy. The novel follows a younger version of the character, who is unfortunately chosen as one of the District 12 tributes for the Fiftieth Annual Hunger Games.
