A beloved Honduran musician was among 13 people killed in a plane crash off the coast of Honduras earlier this week. Aurelio Martínez Suazo, a Honduran singer-songwriter and politician, died in the Monday plane crash that occurred near the island of Roatan, the Associated Press reported.

At least 12 people, including a popular musician, died when a small plane crashed into the sea while taking off from a Caribbean island off Honduras, officials said.
