If you work with computers sooner or later you’re going to find you need an image that is in a raster (AKA bitmap) format (e.g. .gif, .jpg, .wmf) translated to a vector format (e.g. .svg, .cgm, .dwg).
Can anyone recommend software for conversion of a raster image to vector representation? I have a .jpg that I need to blow up to poster size. This is just a one-off so I can't pick up an expensive ...
