Falling behind by three goals 14 minutes into a game would rattle most teams. With everything the Columbus Blue Jackets have faced in the past seven months though, it was just another night at the office.

The Blue Jackets, Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers each have 75 points, six behind the Ottawa Senators for the first wild card in the Eastern Conference. Columbus has played 71 games, Montreal 72 games and New York 73 games.

Just a few days ago, almost every Columbus Blue Jackets fan and journalist was talking about how the team could pull within two points of the New Jersey Devils for third in the Metro. Unfortunately, they lost to the Devils and fell six points back.
