Plans are even in the works for fundraising campaigns with the running banana as the mascot, including an attempt to break the world record for fastest half marathon sometime next year.

On Sunday 19 January 2020, Jordan Maddocks became the fastest man in the world to run a marathon in a banana costume. His time? An extremely impressive 2:41:27.
