Mikaela Shiffrin made her return to competitive skiing after sustaining a serious injury two months ago, finishing 10th in the World Cup slalom event in Courchevel.

In her first World Cup race since November, Mikaela Shiffrin finished 10th in a slalom that will serve as a world championships tune-up.

Mikaela Shiffrin will race for the first time in almost nine weeks, since a crash in Killington, Vermont, left her with a deep gash in her obliques.
