The first U.S. military flight deporting migrants from the U.S. to Guantanamo landed in Cuba on Feb. 4, according to a U.S. official. It was the first step in an expected surge in the number of migrants sent to the U.S. base.

In a new lawsuit, the ACLU is taking on the Trump Administration over what it calls a deprivation of rights of those who were deported to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Lawsuit argues that the Trump Administration is taking away the first and fifth amendment rights of the undocumented migrants who have been shuttered away from the world at Guantanamo Bay.
