There is a reason why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce didn't make it to the 2025 Met Gala. TMZ reports the couple were invited to the annual event. However, they declined the invite due to their busy schedules, as a source said.

The last time Taylor Swift posed at the Met Gala red carpet steps was in 2016, when she served as one of the evening’s co-chairs for the “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme. That year marked her sixth appearance at the annual fashion event, having previously attended in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Another day, another Met Gala where everyone hopes Taylor Swift will show up, but she’s probably chilling at home with her cats.
