Heavy rainfall and severe weather hit Middle Tennessee as a series of powerful storms makes its way through over the next 2 days.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — At least five people were killed in Tennessee in weather-related incidents after severe storms moved through the state late Wednesday into Thursday morning, according to Tennessee Emergency Agency (TEMA) and other officials.

The church suffered a direct hit from the debris, causing significant structural damage, and all four were taken to a local hospital. One was in critical condition, while the other three were facing non-life-threatening injuries.
