Scheffler is recovering from surgery on his right hand, stemming from a Christmas Day mishap. He was initially forecasted to miss three to four weeks.

Scheffler, the world No. 1, underwent surgery on his right hand after a Christmas Day accident and hasn't competed since December.

Scheffler had said at the start of the week the recovery was progressing well and he was eager to get back but that he wasn’t about to “rush back just to rush back.”

After a month of rehabbing his hand injury, Scottie Scheffler will make his 2025 season debut at next week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle originally reported the news.
