Starz Orders ‘Power: Origins’ Prequel To Series With ‘Raising Kanan’ Star MeKai Curtis Set To Return

Starz has picked up Power: Origins to series, becoming the Universe’s fifth installment and the second prequel, following Power Book III: Raising Kanan. It will consist of 18 episodes with Raising Kanan boss Sascha Penn to serve as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

‘Power: Origins’ Prequel: Everything We Know About the Young Ghost & Tommy Series

STARZ has not announced who will play young James “Ghost” St. Patrick and Tommy Egan in Power: Origins. The roles were originated by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in Power. Younger versions of the characters, played by William Chris Sumpter and Ethan Cutkosky, were featured in a brief Season 6 flashback.
