Ahead of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to China, US senators from both parties have cautioned him against engaging with companies tied to Beijing’s military or intelligence apparatus, warning that such meetings could risk undermining US export controls on advanced AI technology.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has sold 225,000 shares of company stock worth around $36.4 million. According to the recent filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the transactions were executed between July 8 and July 10.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will hold a media briefing in Beijing on July 16, an official from the company said on Sunday.
