Nationwide protests against President Donald Trump coincided with his 79th birthday and a major military parade in Washington, D.C.

Thousands of people gathered for "No Kings" demonstrations on Saturday across the country and Arizona, protesting President Donald Trump.

The largest "No Kings" protest on June 14 is expected to take place in Philadelphia as a nod to the country's history and to avoid accusations that protesters are opposing the Army parade in the nation's capital, organizers have said.

Over a dozen 'No Kings Day' protests are set to take place across the Valley as people gather to stand in opposition of various recent political actions.

As many as 2,000 protests are planned across the country. Organizers say they’re meant as a counteraction to Trump’s lavish parade, which also happens to fall on his birthday.

Despite organizers saying the Arizona protests will be peaceful, the consul warned against participation, especially for those without legal status.

Arizona leaders are warning people who participate in Saturday’s “No Kings” protests to exercise their First Amendment rights peacefully.
