A taxiing Japan Airlines flight hit the tail of a parked Delta plane at Seattle SeaTac Airport on Wednesday, the airport said.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating after a Japan Airlines Dreamliner slices into the tail of a Delta plane at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. The FAA says it happened in an area that was not under air traffic control.

Authorities at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport say a Japan Airlines plane that was taxiing on the tarmac apparently clipped the tail of a parked Delta aircraft Wednesday morning.
