Kohberger's sedan was captured by a plate reader in Loma, Colorado, on Dec. 13. The car was stopped by law enforcement in Hancock County, Indiana, on Dec. 15. On Dec. 16, the car was seen on surveillance video in Albrightsville, Penn.

Bryan Kohberger's lawyer believes he could be unfairly convicted of the Idaho murders due to his "piercing stare," which the attorney argued is a behavioral symptom of autism spectrum disorder.

Mr. Kohberger has a right to present a full and complete defense for the crimes of which he is accused,” his defense wrote.
