A 26-year-old Eastpointe woman who allegedly fatally stabbed her boss Tuesday is charged with first degree premeditated murder. Afeni Badu Muhammad was arraigned in 38th District Court Friday afternoon where Judge Kathleen Galen set the cash/surety bond at $25 million.
On Tuesday, Kimberley Horen, 55, of Eastpointe, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. Horen was initially charged in May.
Kimberley Horen, 55, of Eastpointe, pleaded guilty in the 38th District Court to a count of assault and battery, a 93-day misdemeanor, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said Wednesday in a statement. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 16, according to court records.
Eastpointe and Macomb County officials celebrated the completion of a $1.8 million affordable housing project Thursday afternoon with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
