A cookout inside an Atlanta park ended with one person dead and five others injured. The shooting happened Thursday night around 9:45 p.m. at Empire Park on Oak Drive in southeast Atlanta. Since our first report on WSB Tonight at 11 p.m ., we have now learned a teen who died at the scene was just 17 years old.

Atlanta police are on the hunt for a gunman after a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in downtown Atlanta early Friday morning.

ATLANTA — One man is dead after a shooting at a gas station in Southeast Atlanta. It happened at 1675 Memorial Drive around 1 p.m. Police said the accused shooter, Tavaris Williams, came back to the scene and then tried running away, but police were able to catch him and take him into custody.

One man is dead following a shooting in a townhome in Southeast Atlanta. Police were called out to Skylar Way around 2:30 p.m., where they found a man who had been shot to death. Channel 2’s Tom Regan is at the scene and saw police going in and out of the townhome as they investigate the motive behind the shooting.

ATLANTA — A man is in custody after a deadly shooting at a Shell gas station on Memorial Drive in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon, according to Atlanta Police. APD said that when they arrived at the gas station, they found a man who had been shot to death around 1 p.m.

Officers heard gunshots while patrolling in the 600 block of Spring Street on July 10. They say they found a man who claimed someone shot at him without provocation.
