Predator: Badlands’ new trailer shows off much more of the movie, reveals even more connections to the Alien franchise, and even teases a big mech fight.

The story follows Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a Yautja warrior described as a "runt" by his species' standards, who embarks on a dangerous hunt on an alien planet to prove himself and seek his father's approval.

While shooting Predator: Badlands, director Dan Trachtenberg and his team called it by a codename: “Backpack.” The origin of that name becomes very clear, very quickly in a brand-new action-packed trailer for the film, which features Elle Fanning as a Weyland-Yutani android being carried around by a Predator on his back.
