Can you tell me where you get the Audio Guide from? Does it cost more to take one (on top of the entry ticket?) and finally, did you buy a 'skip the line' ticket to the castle and ramparts? Hi. Picked up the audio guide at the booking office - it was part of the fee. We just picked up the ticket in the day but ‘skip the line’ might be a bit cheaper and would probably be better in June. Beware - it was very warm in late September so June may be very hot. There’s loads of info on the audio guide and I didn’t listen to all the ‘additional info’ bits. A great place

In two hours you can easily walk around the "Cite" of Carcassonne and visit the Basilique St. Nazaire as well as the Castle. Indeed, there are plenty cafees, restaurants etc. …

In two hours you can easily walk around the "Cite" of Carcassonne and visit the Basilique St. Nazaire as well as the Castle. Indeed, there are plenty cafees, restaurants etc. as well as terraces to take a drink, snack or an original Cassoulet. enjoy

Can you bring your pet dog into the paying parts of the château & remparts?

Dogs are not allowed in the castle area - but are otherwise fine in the rest of the old city.

As much as I know full price is 9 euro and Kids is 7 euro
