Mercado Libertad and Mercado San Juan de Dios are one and the same. Not sure why the market has 2 names. It is huge with 3 floors and covers a whole city block. Great place for leather goods: shoes… Full review by jbills2007

Fun to see the thousands of independent stalls selling everything conceivable! Its overwhelming! Great places to eat, shop, get souvenirs, see unusual things. A real authentic mexican marketplace! Full review by tomjet3
