Own tent would be a great idea and I dont see that there would be any issue whatsoever. Not sure if any permissions are required from local authorities. Alternatively you could even go to the I-Camp Resort nearby that provides tent stay and is amazing with their outdoor barbeque experiences. In either case carry along mosquito repellent creams and coils. Also arrange to carry your own food as nearby I didnt any see any arrangements.
