Hi, I'm going to be staying in the hotel circle at San Diego and hopefully Venice beach in L.A afterwards. Which would be the easiest place to get to Dana Point from? I was thinking SD but it's a bit hard to work out as I'm in the UK and am unsure about buses and trains there - thank you!

It is about an hour and 10 minutes from Venice Beach at low traffic times and involves some toll expense (around $6). It is a fairly straightforward drive. San Diego is a big area. Without knowing where you are starting from, I am unable to make a comparison. To provide some reference, at the same low traffic time (Sunday afternoon) it is an hour and twenty minutes from the San Diego Airport to Venice Beach.
Hi. I want to book a tour. My mom is disabled. She has a wheelchair but is able to walk okay too, with help. My concern is getting her on and off the boat. Are there steps to get on and off or can I wheel her on?

It would be pretty difficult for someone who isn’t sure footed.
Can we take a 2 year old? Do you have life jacket/floatation device for a 2 year old?

Hi Nancy. Children of all ages are welcome aboard our regular 2.5-hour safaris. We do have Coast Guard approved PFDs (personal flotation devices) for children, however they are a big horse-collar type of flotation, and not comfortable to wear. Children are not required to wear our PFDs during the trip. If you have a comfortable life jacket for your 2 year old that you’d like to bring for him/her to wear throughout the trip, you’re welcome to do so. Kids are safe anywhere on the boat as long as you are with them. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call us!
