Very large with lots of places to explore. The beach is excellent. If you enjoy bird watching, you will find wonderful opportunities to see a wide variety of birds in their natural habitat.Full review by Rachel M

I read on a hiking link that there are a lot of tics on the trails now. Is this true?

We didn't see any.

Can we see monarchs in late September?
A:
September is a bit early....the festival celebrating their migration is at the end of October but.....there are always butterflies and I saw a monarch there last weekend. Good luck!

No, access to the tower is not permitted.

The visitors center is handicap accessible, you can get out at the Lighthouse but I don't think they have a ramp going up to it. Like the other person suggested, contact the visitors …

The visitors center is handicap accessible, you can get out at the Lighthouse but I don't think they have a ramp going up to it. Like the other person suggested, contact the visitors center at 850-925-6121. I think they are open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Daylight savings time.

We went down first day it opened back up. Yes the whole shoreline walk had changed. Lots of down trees of debris but the lighthouse faired well. Just broken staircase fencing. …
