lovely walk around the garrison, about an hour or so with some stops to admire the stunning sea views. Great for bird spotting and seal spotting, with binoculars ofcouse!Full review by Chan G

This is a popular walk from Hugh Town. Star castle dominates the site and the headland is surrounded by walls with bastions and gun batteries. There is a well marked footpath running round the inside…Full review by EESW1
Not at all - it is totally free and about 2.5hrs to walk around taking lots of photos. You can do a guided tour - about £8 from the TIC which is also good and get a more in depth history …
